Privacy policy application procedure

II. Purposes and legal basis of the processing

We process your data in order to decide on the suitability and conclusion of employment relationships and on the basis of our legitimate interests in finding qualified employees who fit in with us. In addition, we process the data to fulfil our legal obligations. In addition, if you successfully complete the application process and we enter into an employment contract with you, we may also process the personal data we have already received from you for employment purposes. The legal bases for the processing of the data are therefore § Section 26 para. 1 sentence 1 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) and Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b), lit. c), lit. f) GDPR.

III. Data categories concerned

We only process data that you voluntarily provide to us as part of the application process or that we learn about during interviews with you. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide this data. However, if you do not provide us with any or complete application documents, we may not be able to assess whether we have a suitable vacancy and whether we can make you an offer. The processing therefore includes, in particular, the information specified in your application regarding your person, your CV, your qualifications and other information in your application and in the application process.

IV. Duration of data retention

Your personal data will only be processed for the duration of the fulfilment of the aforementioned purposes and regularly deleted within 3 months after rejection or completion of the application process. Beyond this, data is only stored if and insofar as we are obliged to do so for legal reasons (for example, statutory commercial and tax retention obligations). If we are to store the data for a longer period (for example, so that we can contact you directly in the event of subsequent suitable vacancies), this will only happen if you consent to the storage (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) GDPR)

V. Transfer of personal data

The data will be processed by employees of our HR department and - if necessary - passed on to the respective department and the management in order to finally assess the application. Any transfer to other recipients or a transfer to third countries outside the European Economic Area is not intended.

VI. Rights of data subjects

You can exercise the following rights with regard to your personal data:

Furthermore, you can file a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority at any time if you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully. For Fragol, for example, this is generally the data protection supervisory authority of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
